The government has given all schools additional funds to support pupils to catch up lost time after school closure. This is especially important for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds.

We have prioritised reading in our plan for spending this additional money, because we believe reading is the key to unlock many other areas of the curriculum.
